Exploring with demo data

Overview

Demo data lets you explore the entire product — Overview, Discovery, Agents, Metadata — using a realistic sample Salesforce org, without connecting anything real. It's the fastest way to evaluate SmixAI, run a sales demo, or learn the workflow.

Key concepts

• Demo data is clearly separated. Everything created is tagged as demo so it can be removed cleanly in one click.
• It's safe. No real systems are touched and no credentials are required.

How to: load and remove demo data

Load it

1. Go to Settings (or pick Explore with demo data during onboarding).
2. In the Demo data card, click Load demo data.
3. Open Overview to see a populated dashboard.

Reload or remove it

• Reload demo data clears the old sample and loads a fresh one.
• Remove demo data deletes everything tagged as demo, returning your org to empty.

Use cases

• Sales / evaluation: load demo data, walk the full Connect → Discover → Act loop live.
• Training: let new team members practice triaging findings and deploying fixes safely.
• Before going live: remove demo data once you connect your real Salesforce org so your numbers reflect reality.

Troubleshooting

• Mixed real + demo numbers. If you've connected a real org and loaded demo data, your totals include both. Remove demo data for a clean, real-only view.
